Scobis Uno

Vegetable Bedding for Laboratory Animals.

Technical characteristics:

Scobis Uno bedding is made of wood particles, obtained from spruce.
The particles have been dried, sieved and dedusted before packaging.
Their size is between 1.2 and 2.8 mm and the density is about 170 g/l.
The absorbency is about 3 times the weight of the product.

The drying process is done by a high temperature treatment which helps to maximize bacterial load reduction.

Scobis Uno is produced in a factory specialized in Laboratory Animal Bedding.
Due to the moisture level about 12%, the bedding can be stored for a long time in dry conditions.

Mucedola quality procedures:

Scobis Uno is part of the quality program of Mucedola, and undergoes the same certification procedures as the animal diets.
The bedding is delivered with an analysis certificate relevant to the content of contaminants in that batch.
At every new batch a new analysis report is released.

Packaging:

Scobis Uno is delivered in micro perforated autoclavable paper bags of about volume 55 liters (about 10 kg).
The 80 x 120 cm pallets have 30 bags each.
The paper bags are easy to autoclave.
The pallets are wrapped with a plastic film for a full protection against environmental pollutants.
